Vintage Motorcycle Showcase
Event Chairs: Dave Alger & Dave March (contact info in directory)
This event was started by founding member Terry Barber and a friend who suggested they show the Oyster Run attendees what “real vintage” motorcycles were all about. The event started in the Depot Arts Center and featured a dozen motorcycles, owned by local residents. WVM became a club, and this event continues to showcase vintage motorcycles and is open to anyone (even non-WVM members) who would like to display a vintage bike for the duration of the show. Note: “Vintage” for this show means motorcycles 30+ years old.
Show off yours to the crowds in town for Oyster Run. Shoot the breeze with fellow enthusiasts both in the club and otherwise. One trophy to be awarded for “People’s Choice”.
Last year’s event went from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm - stay tuned for details on this year’s schedule.
The WAFED bank parking lot is on the corner of Commercial Ave and 11th Street in Anacortes, the next block north of the Safeway.
The WVM Anacortes Vintage Motorcycle Show is not affiliated with Oyster Run.
Note: The show area is intended for the bikes on display, and not as a parking area for WVM members visiting Oyster Run.
