Terms and conditions

Washington Vintage Motorcyclists (WVM) is an organization for the promotion and encouragement of motorcycling enjoyment. The club does not sponsor, supervise, or control any motorcycling rides, but only sponsors specific advertised events and gatherings at specific locations. 

01.WVM Sponsored events

As a member or non-member participating in a WVM sponsored event, it is expressly stated and understood in these terms and conditions that WVM shall be indemnified and will hold no liability incurred from any losses, personal property damages, personal injuries or personal financial grievances that result from a member or non-member’s participation in a WVM sponsored event.

 

02.Motorcycle Riding

As a member or non-member choosing personal transport or commute by way of riding on or operating a motorcycle to or from a WVM sponsored event, it is expressly stated and understood in these terms and conditions that WVM shall be indemnified and will hold no liability incurred from any losses, personal property damages, personal injuries or personal financial grievances that result from a member or non-member’s transport or commute by way of riding on or operating a motorcycle to or from a WVM sponsored event.

 

03.Personal Motorcycle Liability and/or Injury insurance

WVM advocates for the safety of all members and non-members that choose to ride on or operate a motorcycle. The WVM organization encourages all members and non-members to purchase and maintain their own personal liability and/or injury insurance coverage. It is expressly stated and understood in these terms and conditions that WVM shall be indemnified and will hold no liability resulting in a member or non-member’s ability or willingness to adhere to any state laws or their personal maintenance of current insurance coverage.
