Concrete Fly-in 2026

  • Mears Field 7879 South Superior Avenue Concrete, WA, 98237 United States (map)

Old Fashioned Fly-in, every July in Concrete, WA

It is a nice ride out to Concrete. Why not enjoy the day by heading out to Mears Field to see some old and new planes, visit with some folks who open their hangers up for the event, and have a little something to eat while you are there (vendors at the airfield or restaurants in town)? If you want to see a lot of landings and take-offs, you’ll have to be there on Friday (most planes arrive) or Sunday (most planes leave). Use the link at the bottom to reach the event page on the Concrete Chamber of Commerce website.

From the Concrete Chamber of Commerce:

The Concrete Old Fashioned Fly-In is a popular event for vintage, classic, and antique airplane enthusiasts and their families and friends. Founded in 1982, this annual event takes place among some of the most outstanding scenery in the Pacific Northwest. The Mears Field Airport is nestled in the foothills of the North Cascade mountain range in Washington state.

Attendees will not only get to enjoy the activities at the airport (food, live music, and more), but you’ll also be treated to sightseeing around the local area and visits to our historic Town Center. Free, guided tours will depart by bus from the Pilots Lounge throughout the event. The Concrete Old Fashioned Fly-In draws visitors driving the Cascade Loop and visiting the North Cascades National Park.

if you are thinking of flying in instead of riding, the airport website has runway information. If you just want to look at the airport cameras, you find them on the WSDOT page for Mears Field.
